Inspiration
Actually Its MLH Hacky birthday so I thought to develop some sort of device with arduino as far to my knowledge that matches the birthday theme of out 7th Hack MLH birthday.
What it does
There are some push button that when trigerred plays some piano notes and we can play any tone we want. The possibilities are just unlimited to the imagination of user. Moreover, It allows us to display some message. Here in my proejct I have displayed "Hacky Birthday MLH!"
How I built it
I built it using the Arduino Microcontroller inside Tinkercad Simulation Environment. I have used push buttons for input, piezo buzzer as output for piano and LCD (16*2) display for displaying the message.
Challenges I ran into
I was trying to do it physically but I didnt had an LCD and push buttons so I tried the simulated environment. Also got some problems opening the video editor and still trying to figure it out.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
I am happy that I came up with some geeky-hacky project for this hackathon.
What I learned
I learned about the pin configuration of LCD display and how I can play different frequency notes with the help of sound library in arduino.
What's next for Arduino Piano with Lcd
I have planned to use capacitive touch instead of push buttons as an upgrade to this project in future. So that it would be very easy to play piano
