Inspiration

we live in a world of danger, our stuff, our way of life is vulnerable in alot of ways, what if we can use tecnology, to solve these problems, using simple stuff that we can buy in almost all tecnology stores in the contry, we can built a basic-intermediary security system, and if we know how to do it, why not doing it?

What it does

you can basically see everywhere in the world, a webpage with ipcams, secure locks, and some sensors,

How we built it

using arduino, and stepper motor (simulating a door lock, that you can control) also a ipcamp to see whats going on...

Challenges we ran into

we want to include some extra features, like face detection and recognicion, but it result to be more difficult to implement that we thought it could be

Accomplishments that we're proud of

thet we connect arduino via php, and that we can control some motors via web

What we learned

big projects require alot of time(something that we really run of)and that nothing is impossible if we have the motivation to do it

What's next for Ardtrap Security

we need to perfect it first before even think to do bussiness with it, but who knows? i mean, is cheap, beautiful and easy to control, maybe we could be a company later.
