Inspiration
- Inspired by issues pertaining to present day social media that focus on more on likes and views as supposed to photo-sharing
- We wanted to connect people on the internet and within communities in a positive, immersive experience
- Bring society closer together rather than push each other away
What it does
- Social network for people to share images and videos to be viewed in AR
- removed parameters such as likes, views, engagement to focus primarily on media-sharing
How we built it
- Used Google Cloud Platform as our VM host for our backend
- Utilized web development tools for our website
- Git to collaborate with teammates
- Unity and Vuforia to develop Ar
Challenges we ran into
- Learning new software tools, but we all preserved and had each other's back.
- Using Unity and learning how to use Vuforia in real time
Accomplishments that we're proud of
- Learning Git, and a bunch more new software that we have never touched!
