Inspiration
Healthcare information is often fragmented, difficult to understand, and reactive. We wanted to build Dhanvantari, an AI-powered health intelligence platform that helps users understand their health information and identify meaningful patterns earlier.
What it does
Dhanvantari provides:
- AI-powered health analysis
- Personalized health insights
- Risk and anomaly identification
- Conversational health assistance
- Health information summarization
- Context-aware recommendations
- Persistent health context
It is designed as a decision-support system, not a replacement for doctors.
How we built it
Dhanvantari combines React/Next.js, FastAPI/Node.js, Supabase/PostgreSQL, and AI/LLM technologies.
The core workflow is:
User Data → Context Processing → AI Reasoning → Evidence/Insights → User-Friendly Output
Challenges we ran into
The biggest challenges were ensuring accuracy, reducing AI hallucinations, protecting sensitive health data, maintaining context, and presenting complex medical information in a simple way.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We built a foundation for a personalized, persistent health intelligence platform rather than just another AI chatbot. The system combines structured data, AI reasoning, context, and responsible AI principles.
What we learned
We learned that healthcare AI requires more than powerful models. Accuracy, privacy, explainability, evidence, and user trust are equally important.
What's next for Dhanvantari
We plan to add multimodal health analysis, wearable integration, longitudinal health tracking, evidence-grounded insights, multilingual support, early-warning systems, and doctor-facing tools.
Our vision is to make Dhanvantari a personal health intelligence layer that helps people understand their health and make better-informed decisions.
