🧠 Inspiration
The architecture industry lacks a unified digital platform that bridges the gap between clients and firms efficiently. We wanted to simplify the process of discovering, comparing, and connecting with architecture firms using a smart, modern, and user-friendly solution.
💡 What it does
ArchX helps users explore and connect with architecture firms based on location, specialization, and project scale. It offers intelligent browsing, detailed firm profiles, and seamless contact options — all within an optimized and responsive interface.
🏗️ How we built it
We built ArchX using React, Tailwind CSS, and TypeScript for a fast, scalable frontend. Lucide-react powers our icons, and the platform is hosted on Netlify for smooth deployment. AI functionalities are integrated using the Gemini API to enhance intelligent search and recommendations.
⚙️ Challenges we ran into
Designing a clear, intuitive structure for complex firm data.
Managing API integration securely within a client-first setup.
Balancing UI aesthetics with performance and accessibility.
🏅 Accomplishments that we're proud of
Built a complete, responsive, and modern web interface from scratch.
Integrated AI for smarter discovery experiences.
Designed an architecture that can easily scale and adapt to future enhancements.
📚 What we learned
How to integrate large language models (LLMs) like Gemini efficiently into real-world applications.
The importance of UI/UX precision in search-based web apps.
Best practices in deployment and environment management.
🚀 What's next for ArchX
Advanced AI-assisted recommendations and natural language queries.
Expanded listings with real-time data updates.
A secure backend layer for privacy and performance optimization.
