Inspiration
The concept of creating the Architecture Review Assistant app dawned on me while immersed in the development of solutions and automation for our clients. I noticed the challenges professionals face when conducting comprehensive and efficient architecture reviews. Not everyone possesses awareness of the best practices suitable for their solutions, making the review process time-consuming, tedious, and sometimes mundane.
What it does
Architecture Review Assistant can read architecture information from cloudformation or terraform template or from github public repositories and provide recommendations to align the application with aws well-architected framework.. The app not only expedites reviews but also cultivates a more efficient and collaborative environment for creative discussions. Now, even those with limited knowledge of AWS can design solutions adhering to all pillars of the well-architected framework.
How we built it
Constructing such an application independently could have been an overwhelming task. AWS's Partyrock made the entire journey seamless, eliminating the need for expertise in programming languages for application development. The time required for building applications has been reduced to seconds, a process that would have taken months if not years.
Challenges we ran into
Thanks to AWS Partyrock, building various types of applications became a smooth process without encountering significant challenges.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
I have tested this application on some public repositories on GitHub, and I can confidently say that it functions exceptionally well.
What we learned
Developing applications has become remarkably straightforward, all thanks to the generative AI tools like AWS Partyrock.
What's next for Architecture Review Assistant
Looking forward, the plan is to continuously enhance Architecture Review Assistant by incorporating advanced AI features for design analysis and expanding integration capabilities with emerging design tools.
