Inspiration

I have seeing alot of people's loosing most of there money due to cyber attacks and lack of protection knowledge, about common threats like phishing, etc many attackers use common ways but most people's can't understand and protect there property leading to huge loses of property and wealth, that's why I came up with project arcane which teach peoples about cybersecurity Knowledge and provide tools that help individuals protect themselves and businesses from attacks

What it does

Arcane provide a scanning tool that scans and evaluate malicious content like email, invoices, website files and more providing accurate result and detailed explanation, additionally it doesn't only stop from scanning the content, it blocks it and notify users to know and take further action, it also have Ai tutor that guide you base on your learning capacity, providing enhance learning and clarifying concept into understandable way, lastly it has a learning module that will take you from beginner to advanced in cybersecurity focusing more on how to protect yourself in the digital world , by providing theory base learning interactive quizes and precious certification, we also provide api so you can intergrate into your website or software and block threat and instantly get notified when someone is trying to fake the system by entering fake data , so allowing you to take action on the user avoiding loses

How we built it

When the idea popup to me I try to write it down on note though it is not much big like of now, later I added even more by thinking , I make research about security tools but I get none that combines whole features and provide free tier + cheap pricing, so that's when I started writing the idea all in a word file, I then find a way to make it valuable like how it will generates an income if scaled , I realise the idea is big and is very good , so with my tech knowledge I started to figure out on how to build it, I use html CSS J's for the frontend and build beutiful modern animated UI that allow users to use app seamlessly without assistance , I then use expressjs mongodb to work on backend system , I figure out all my routes like /api/user/, /api/scan, /api/analytids , I then later intergrated Ai, which respond base on context , I provide few context to the ai ( chat/tutor, scanning, assistance), i pass this context -> means the pattern of data Ai should follow to respond , after then I connect the backend and frontend I use git to push to GitHub and host in vercel serverless function for free , I test it and invite many peoples , at first day I post almost 50 people's register scan and leave good feedback for me , that supirse me as a young developer

Challenges we ran into

The challanges I mainly face as a developer here is , I leave in Nigeria a country with poor electricity internet and a space to work, I'm a self taught web developer driven by passion, and though I use phone to code I push beyond boundaries, suprisingly I use my phone to code which is very very though for me , though I leverage Ai to make my work effective, I get many issues like compatibility issues , slow working internet etc and surprisingly I completed this in just 2weeks posting proofs in my media handle surprise people's about how I build entire fills tack app with phone and slow internet while is very scalable and responsive , I then borrow pc to test and screenshot and make post , it was so amazing

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I'm proud of this project , because as someone very young and using just a. Phone to code has builded a very amazing project that is scalable my environment don't limit my ideas or stop me from building, I feel so proud and excited because the project is scalable , testing ready - mvp, marketable and real world , imagine it provide scanning tool, Ai tutor and even api to use everywhere and get instant notification

I learned about resilience, with resilience you can push beyond limit

What's next for Arcane Security

When I get investment for this project I will expand it, i will add more features like a custom email so you can just send email and scann, then get back result, also build the security lesson section, also add billing page that is good for people's , also host it so we won't face issues in server, also buy domain and lastly market it and keep adding even more features
