Inspiration

As college students, people always tell us that you have to pick between studying and friends, which is why we wanted to invent a new way to study together.

What it does

Upload a pdf (or text) of class notes, a textbook page, etc., and Arcademia will create AI-generated flashcards tailored to your notes. Then, create a multiplayer room and send it to your friends. Now, you can choose to play retro arcade games related to your study questions, and compete to earn points on the leaderboard.

How we built it

We used React for the frontend, and FastAPI for the backend.

We can into some challenges setting up multiplayer rooms with websockets.

We are proud of the theming of our website and the usefulness of our idea.

We learned how to work together and collaborate as a team!

What's next for Arcademia

We will add in more retro games for our users to choose from, such as pong!
