🎮 The Games Arcade Universe brings together 14 hand-crafted games: Happy Dragon (a Chinese-themed Flappy Bird with a fire-breathing dragon and gold gate pillars), Boing Pong, Drop 4, Tic Tac Go, Slither Dash, Block Breaker, Bubble Pop, Slide Maze, 2048 Surge, Chess Lite, Memory Match, Block Drop, Pocket Pool, and Dot Duel - every game built from scratch with unique mechanics, AI opponents, and custom sound effects.

🐉 Cultural Touch - Happy Dragon The classic flappy game reimagined with a fully illustrated red Chinese dragon - animated flapping wings, gold horns, dorsal spikes, fire breath, and spiked tail. The pipes are replaced with red and gold Chinese gate pillars engraved with the character 龍 (dragon). Built specifically to impress our Chinese judges!

🤖 Smart AI Opponents Six games feature AI opponents with multiple difficulty levels. Chess Lite uses minimax with alpha-beta pruning. Drop 4 and Tic Tac Go use full minimax algorithms. Boing Pong, Dot Duel and Pocket Pool have personality-driven AI that adapts to the player.

🔊 Zero-Latency Sound Engine A custom Web Audio API sound engine (ArcadeSound.js) synthesizes unique sounds mathematically in real-time - no audio files, no external calls, no lag. Every game has its own distinct soundscape: the dragon roars, the chess pieces thud on wood, the tetris blocks lock with a satisfying click, and the bubbles pop with a juicy burst.

🎯 AI-Powered Daily Challenge Every day the MeDo LLM plugin generates a unique challenge tailored to one of the 14 games - "Score 500 in Boing Pong" or "Clear 4 lines in Block Drop". Progress is tracked automatically and completing the challenge awards bonus points to the global leaderboard.

🔥 Dynamic Hot Badges The top 5 most-played games automatically earn an animated diagonal HOT ribbon badge that updates in real-time as players play, giving the homepage a living, breathing feel.

🌌 Live Arcade Background The homepage background is a live arcade - a real snake game slithers, tetris blocks fall, pong balls bounce, and bubbles float, all running as canvas animations at 20% opacity behind the game cards.

🏆 Hall of Fame A gold/silver/bronze podium leaderboard tracks the top 3 players across all 14 games with glowing rank numbers and animated crown.
