Inspiration
We started creating an arbitrage bot and soon noticed that there were few to none arbitrage monitoring services out there, that specifically support decentralized exchanges. So we simply decided to create our own.
What it does
We build a blockchain-based monitoring service that gathers the price of token pairs directly from the Decentralized Exchanges' routers.
How we built it
We build it with a creative mindset on Remix and solidity.
Challenges we ran into
We had about 3 people who delayed work and in the end didn't even contribute. That actually hurt.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We got a working smartcontract and are going to build a GUI for it.
What we learned
Don't trust anyone. It's hard to manage teams on your own. Furthermore, we learned about Chainlink's features that we were unaware of.
What's next for Arbitrage-Monitoring_CLHackathonFall22
- We build the GUI to dramatically increase the user experience
- Integrate the Smart Contract Automation feature to continuously interact with the smart contract
- Upgrade the arbitrage_monitoring.sol contract in such a way that different users are able to monitor different token pairs of their choice,
- Allow for an automated procedure (ideally, another smart contract) to continuously update the list of token pairs and exchange routers to monitor.
