Inspiration

I bought things in the past and due to the inconvenience of having to look stuff up, and not knowing whether the source I was looking at was trustworthy.

What it does

“Arbiter” is designed as a plug-in that allows for a seamless way to quickly and easily pull up trusted reviews on e-commerce websites.

How we built it

We started with the backend aspect using React first in order to set up the API linked through youtube. Once this was done we moved on to front end by using CSS to create the theme.

Challenges we ran into

The most challenging part of this experience would have to be, coming to an idea all members could agree on based on our skill set. But after that we executed our project with efficiency.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Being able to work alongside different but determined and like minded individuals such as myself. It was truly a pleasure to be able to share ideas and skills and generate valuable experience from each other.

What we learned

Many things were learned through this hackathon. I think the most valuable lesson learned is the ability to work closely with your teammates in a limited amount of time. I think this has prepared us real life work scenarios.

What's next for Arbiter (Mission Million)

As we march towards a more integrated future, so will Mission Million. Our team aims to continue working on innovative ways to better optimize our start-up app. We seek to incorporate such features as barcode scanning to allow for a more flawless interface. Talk to text is also a milestone we look to implement. The possibilities are endless. THANK YOU!
