Inspiration

Inspired to make Arab AI by the inaccessibility and non-user-friendly AI image editing tools that exist for Arabic users today, we believe everyone should get a chance to explore his or her creativity and express himself/herself through art irrespective of his/her language or technical skills.

What it does

Arab AI provides a suite of free, AI-powered image editing tools designed for Arabic-speaking users. These tools utilize advanced machine learning algorithms to transform photos into pencil sketches, cartoons, and digital artwork with ease.

How we built it

We have created Arab AI using Python and several powerful machine learning libraries, including TensorFlow and OpenCV. We used an enormous amount of images to train our models in order to ensure high-quality, realistic results. We also focused on making the web interface user-friendly and easy to navigate for every kind of user-even the users who might feel that they are not 'technical' enough.

Challenges we ran into

The biggest challenges we were to deal with would be high accuracy and efficiency of our AI models. Several experiments were conducted in varying algorithms and training methods to come up with the best results. Also, one more challenge was to make the platform accessible for users with different levels of internet connectivity and device capabilities.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

What we learned

The development of Arab AI has taught us much about the magic of machine learning, and how it might alter the process of creating and relating to images. Just as importantly, we've learned a thing or two about how interfaces need to be intuitive and user-friendly, so AI tools can become more accessible to a wide circle of users.

What's next for Arab AI

Adding new AI tools: "We will be adding more AI-powered image editing tools such as face recognition, object detection, style transfer."
