Inspiration
We realized that many tasks can be really complicated to learn if learning purely by watching YouTube videos or read instruction manual. If there is someone next to us and help us guide through the process it would be much easier. But that "someone" cannot always be physically there so we created this telepresence experience to meet the mentor.
What it does
Create a tele immersion experience where mentor will be in VR and students will be in AR. Both of their presences are represented by avatars and appear in each other's view. Mentor can draw annotation to indicate important parts and demonstrate to students on right way.
How we built it
We built using Unity and relied on a lot 3rd party API

Code that runs on Unity editor doesn't necessarily mean it will run on Hololens
