Inspiration: The theme of the hackathon-HackThe90s-and Reddit r/SnapLenses for creating numerous intuitive and creative lenses.
What it does: A snap filter that turns your face into a Tamagotchi and responds to facial movements and touch.
How we built it: Lens Studio by Snapchat and Javascript.
Challenges we ran into: Getting a grasp of Lens Studio's API and learning how to work with 3D models and augmented reality.
Accomplishments that we're proud of: Being able to display the lens on the phone, being able to make it do different things when the users moves it's facial features.
What we learned: How to create a Snap filter.
What's next for HackThe90s AR SnapLens: Create a portal filter with 3D models.
