AR Store seamlessly blends the virtual and real worlds, allowing users to explore and interact with products in a way that goes beyond conventional online shopping. From trying on virtual fashion to placing furniture in their homes before purchase, AR Store redefines the boundaries of retail, providing a personalized and engaging shopping universe.
How we built it
AR Store is a testament to innovation and collaboration, crafted using Unity Engine, Vuforia AR SDK, Canva, and a collection of open-source 3D models. Embracing the power of Unity, we meticulously designed and implemented a dynamic and visually immersive environment for users to explore.
Challenges we ran into
Building AR Store presented its set of challenges, from optimizing AR performance across various devices to ensuring realistic rendering without compromising on quality. While developing AR Store, one of the intriguing challenges we encountered was implementing a seamless color swap feature for individual objects. Our goal was to provide users with the ability to customize the color of a selected product, adding a layer of personalization to the shopping experience.
