Inspiration Low portion of food

What it does

The primary use for this hack is for online ordering, whether its food, furniture, appliances or groceries. I often run into issues where the food I order is not what I expected – having an either disappointing quantity or just being completely different to what I thought I was ordering. Other applications could be furniture not only for a quick and easy way to see whether a furniture item fits in a space, but whether it works in the space or not. You can’t really get a good idea of whether it looks good in an area or not until it’s actually there. Even when ordering products where size isn’t particularly relevant the ability to actually see the product in relation to its desired surroundings or just for aesthetics and convenience should allow for wider use of this technology.

How we built it - Using Computer vision.

Challenges we ran into - Current file type cannot include colour into the AR image (running difficulty)

Accomplishments that we're proud of - AR example of Pizza works

What we learned - Coding is hard!

What's next for AR Integration for online shopping - Integrating AR into different online shopping platforms such as furniture and home appliances.
