How we built it

The development of our AR geo-located billboard was a meticulous process that harnessed cutting-edge technology and creative tools. To bring this vision to life, we utilized Google Geospatial Creator, a powerful platform for geolocation-based AR experiences. This allowed us to precisely map the billboard's location and seamlessly integrate it with the physical world. We leveraged Adobe Aero, an industry-leading AR authoring tool, to design and animate captivating 2D and 3D objects that seamlessly blend with the real environment. By merging these objects with the user's real-world surroundings, we achieved an immersive and interactive experience that captivates the audience. Through a meticulous blend of geospatial technology, animation, and creative design, we transformed a traditional billboard into an AR masterpiece that engages, entertains, and inspires. This collaborative fusion of innovative software and design expertise has been instrumental in bringing our groundbreaking AR billboard to life.

Challenges we ran into

One aspect we are very conscious of ensuring the users are safe. This level of engagement can lead to a loss of awareness of physical surroundings. Built-in warnings through Adobe and App clips ensure a safe experience for all. Built-in 2D and 3D objects, including animations, ensured that we could build a scene without extensive skills or knowledge of 3D creation and animation.
