AR Chemistry Learning Application

Inspiration

I always wanted chemistry to be easy for students, so I made this AR application. Which helps the students to understand the chemistry structures better.

What it does

All the students pursuing chemistry know how frustrating it is to imagine the structures of organic compounds and associate them with their chemical properties. But with the help of the AR Chemistry app, you can see the actual structure in augmented reality with image tracking and associate them with their chemical and physical properties

How we built it

I have use C# and flutter to make this application and Echo Ar for Ar models.

Challenges we ran into

1. During the creation of the 3D models of different organic compounds, we had to adjust the scale of the different components of the compounds so that it becomes user-friendly.

2. While importing the models in echo AR, we had faced an issue that some additional components were added to the model when it got uploaded. We resolved it by making some changes to the original model.

3. We tried many packages for web view in flutter, but most of them resulted in failure and did not work as per our requirements. So after a lot of searching, we came across a package that resolved our issues.
