The inspiration behind aquaticAPP stems from a deep fascination with Earth's oceans and the growing need to reconnect urban communities with marine conservation efforts. As avid scuba divers and tech enthusiasts, our team witnessed firsthand the degradation of coral reefs during a coastal clean-up trip. We wanted to channel that urgency into an immersive digital experience—combining the calming, meditative aesthetics of the deep sea with high-impact data visualization. By turning ocean conservation into a visually stunning, interactive dashboard, we aimed to inspire everyday users to track marine health, support local conservation initiatives, and explore the mysteries of the deep blue right from their browsers.
