I independently conceptualized and developed the idea for Aqua Save – Smart Water Management System. I identified the real-world problem of water tank overflow and uncontrolled water wastage through observation in households and schools. I defined the core problem statement and designed a practical solution focused on affordability and simplicity.
I was responsible for planning the system architecture, selecting the water level sensor, designing the monitoring mechanism, and building the working prototype. I assembled the components, connected the sensor and controller unit, and developed the alert-based control logic to detect water levels accurately.
I conducted multiple testing trials to ensure the system responded correctly at different water levels and verified the reliability of the alert mechanism. I also prepared the project presentation, documentation, and demonstration video explaining the concept, design thinking process (Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, Test), and real-world impact.
Through this project, I demonstrated skills in problem-solving, basic electronics integration, prototype development, testing, and effective technical communication.
