Climate Data & Environmental Monitoring, with a secondary fit for Sustainable Supply Chains. The hackathon calls for climate solutions using blockchain, AI, and data-driven methods, and asks for a working prototype, public code repository, project description, and a 3–5 minute demo video. The problem: Farmers using water efficient systems often have no consistent, verifiable record of how much water they used or what they harvested. Buyers, funders, and project partners have to rely on claims that can be difficult to check. The solution. AquaProof is an offline friendly app that records water use and harvest data for a farm cycle. A low cost flow sensor can send readings from a hydroponic system; farmers can also enter records manually. The app calculates water use per kilogram harvested and compares it with a documented baseline for the same crop and production period. How the technology helps;

  1. IoT and data. Record flow meter readings, harvest weights, crop cycle dates, and optional system readings such as reservoir level.

2.AI. Flag missing or unusual readings for human review. It does not change the recorded data or decide whether a climate claim is true.

  1. Blockchain. Store a daily record hash and timestamp, so an auditor can check whether the shared record has been changed. The detailed farm data stays off-chain.

4.QR verification. Let a buyer or reviewer open a read-only summary and check the record’s integrity.
