Nutrition is crucial in day-to-day life, and when my teammate and I heard that part of the criteria of judging would be scaling and applications, we chose to create a website that could help with nutrition. Considering that there are already nutrition apps that keep track of caloric intake and other food-related statistics, we chose to focus on the hydration aspect of nutrition.
The user can attach an image of a drink, and the website, through gpt api image detection software, will return the amount of hydration the drink will provide, based on the amount of electrolytes and other nutrients in the drink. By entering their height and weight, users can learn their daily water intake. When they add an image to the website, it tracks their hydration intake. The website will also provide recommendations to the user based on whether they are meeting their daily target or not.
HTML code was used for the UI, and the gpt-api was used for the backend work and image processing.
