Inspiration

Our oceans are some of the most beautiful, mysterious, and unknown places on the earth. We all love the concept of Geoguessr, so why not create something similar, but with iconic coastal and oceanic landmarks?

What it does

This is a game meant to entertain and test the minds of people. In addition, it helps spark their excitement in geography.

How we built it

We used MIT App Inventor to create the app, using images and buttons with coding. In addition, we used Photopea to design our title page.

Challenges we ran into

We had trouble coding the buttons to make the right answers correct and the wrong answers incorrect.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud of our creative idea, and we surprised ourselves with our coding skills.

What we learned

We learned how to code, how to use an app-making software, and valuable teamwork skills.

What's next for AquaGuessr

Hopefully, we can keep improving it until it is just as advanced as Geoguessr.
