It's fairly easy for you to approximate the distance between yourself and the nearest wall. However, it would be much more difficult for you to tell me the area of the room. It's not that finding the area is necessarily more difficult, but you aren't trained in doing it. It's a skill.

It's not difficult for you to tell a 45 degree angle from a 90 degree angle, and so on. However, most people are extremely slow and inaccurate at approximating angles beyond 90 degrees.

Interestingly people who have lived in societies without any concept of right angles have a much more difficult time discerning them, because they haven't learned the heuristics necessary to do so. This indicates that with practice, our users will be able to acquire new heuristics and be able to approximate measures that they were previously unable to evaluate.

Being able to make more accurate approximations can be a huge help in mathematics and engineering.

Very few people have the ability to accurately estimate areas, or angles, so our app has a lot to offer to most people.

The features in this app that we are most proud of are:

The questions are NOT hard-coded. There is a tuned random-generation function that randomly generates questions.

We have three music tracks for this program, comprising the menu music, the "learning mode" music and the "time mode" music.

Our program is fairly well-polished.
