Inspiration
Anyone can build an app now. That is not the moat. The hard part, the part nobody automates, is distribution: getting the app in front of people and finding what actually spreads. So we built agents that own distribution, not just the build.
What it does
You describe an app out loud and agents build it. But that is the easy 10%. The real work happens after: the agents ship it, post it to X under your own account, watch the traction, and double down on whatever goes viral. They run the distribution loop 24/7. Building is one sentence. Distribution is the product.
How we built it
Voice to spec with OpenAI, then a build agent on the Claude Agent SDK turns it into a real React Native / Expo app with a self-healing deploy loop. The core is the distribution engine: it auto-posts each app to X under the user's own OAuth, generates the preview and the hook, polls real traction, and runs a ranking loop that decides what to push. TypeScript end to end, Vercel and the Vercel AI SDK for the backend, Blaxel for agent infrastructure.
Challenges we ran into
Distribution is the hard, unsolved part. Posting under each user's own account so apps spread person to person, not from one corporate handle. Turning raw traction into an automatic double-down decision. And keeping the whole loop running unattended, around the clock.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
The app distributes itself. It posts to X on its own, traction climbs in real time, and the agents push the winner without us touching it. Getting to a live app is instant now. The distribution loop running 24/7 is what's actually new.
What we learned
In 2026 building is commodity and distribution is the only moat. The interesting product is the distribution loop, not the code generator. And shipping under each user's own account is what makes growth compound instead of dying in one feed.
What's next for Appmaxxing
This is how every app gets found from now on. We take distribution, we take the market. X, TikTok, App Store, all of it. Every user becomes a distributor with one tap. A hundred apps a day, and the winners spread on their own. Anyone can build. We decide what the world sees.
