Watching job seekers spend hours manually typing the same information into repetitive application forms. We wanted to solve "Application Fatigue" by creating a frictionless, AI-first ecosystem that gives time back to the candidates.

What it does ApplyFlow.ai automates the entire job application lifecycle. It uses Google Gemini 1.5 Flash to parse resumes into structured data, calculates ATS scores, and uses a Puppeteer-based automation engine to one-click auto-fill job applications on external portals.

How we built it Handling complex PDF structures during parsing and managing asynchronous web automation was tough. We also faced environment-specific database connection issues, which we solved by implementing a robust Hybrid In-Memory fallback system

Challenges we ran into We successfully integrated Google Gemini 1.5 Flash to achieve near-instant resume parsing and built a working automation bridge that reduces application time from minutes to seconds.

Accomplishments that we're proud of We learned the power of LLMs in structured data extraction and how to orchestrate complex background tasks in Node.js. We also gained deep insights into building resilient systems that handle external network dependencies.

What's next for ApplyFlow.ai We plan to add AI Interview Coaching, automated follow-up emails, and deep integration with platforms like LinkedIn and Greenhouse to create a 360-degree career growth platform.
