What it does
Apple Health MCP Server allows to fetch and analyse data by AI model (via frontend like Claude desktops or AI agents) from Apple Health. Fit your data everywhere: using this software you can import data exported from Apple devices into any DBMS, base importer is already prepared for extensions Simplify complex data access: you don't need to know data structure or use any structured query language, like SQL, simple access is just granted with natural language Find hidden trends: use LLM as a gate to flexible auto-generated queries which will be able to find data trends not so easy to detect manually
How I built it
With the FastMCP framework and microservice architecture.
Challenges I ran into
Apple Health doesn’t have any API outside IPhone, so we couldn't sync data in real time. So it works with manually downloaded XML files.

Learning how to build MCP servers, when it was still an early concept.
What I learned
Building MCP servers, how tools work, structure of sports and health data from Apple Health.
What's next for Apple Health MCP Server
It will become part of Healthion application, where we will fetch data in real time from phones thanks to native mobile app that’s being developed.
