Inspiration
We were inspired by the talk from an employee from Solera. He described the power of crowd-sourcing an idea and how an idea can appear from any discussion. Furthermore, as developers, many times it is difficult to find new project ideas or truly understand the demands of the consumers. Therefore, we looked to find a solution for this.
What it does
It provides a crowd-sourced collaboration service that allows developers to connect with the consumers, in that consumers directly influence the app development process.
How we built it
We used a combination of CSS, JavaScript, and HTML to power our website.
Challenges we ran into
We have no experience with web development languages, so it was difficult to make the website completely by scratch.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We achieved a minimalist design that completes the proof of concept and can be easily improved.
What we learned
We learned that web development is difficult especially without experience. We also learned how to aquire and apply new skills.
What's next for App 4 Tht
We want to implement paid premium features allowing developers to setup beta testing applications for the consumers. We also want to integrate opportunities for venture capitalist firms to invest in potential ideas.
