Inspiration
"Man is a social being by nature", the condition of isolation in which a large part of the world population is subjected, requires the generation of tools that allow people to connect. In this situation of isolation there are two types of people: on the one hand, people with concerns of all kinds, that due to the same situation of confinement it is impossible for them to get assistance and, on the other hand, specialists with the knowledge and experience necessary to attend said concerns.
On the other hand, there are sectors such as health professionals who are facing the problem, risking their lives. These most vulnerable sectors will receive voluntary donations from isolated citizens when they receive a response to their concerns.
What it does
Apoya2 is a project that seeks to mitigate the adverse effect of social isolation in the quarantine period. Through a technological platform, citizens can make inquiries in different areas (medicine, veterinary medicine, home, leisure, business) and, with virtual consultancies, specialized volunteers attend to them.
By attending a consultation on the platform, the Citizen, on a voluntary basis, recognizes an economic value for the service provided, which is channeled by APOYA2 to local organizations (one in each country) that focus these resources on caring for vulnerable populations.
How I built it
When the Colombian state established compulsory social isolation, the engineers of the CDI Software company decided to create brainstorming sessions in order to find projects that supported the fight against the Coronavirus, thus Apoya2 was born

What's next for Apoya2
Georeferencing so that among the neighbors in isolation, physical needs can be met, such as wheelchairs, glucometers.
