Inspiration
The inspiration behind Apollo-Vault stems from the need to address privacy concerns in health records. Universal transparency among healthcare providers, this project aims to empower individuals with control over their health data.
What it does
Apollo-Vault is a health record ledger built using Solidity, Python, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, React.js, Polygon, blockchain, computer vision, and Firebase. It provides users with privacy over their health records and facilitates transparent sharing of information between healthcare providers.
How we built it
Apollo-Vault was meticulously crafted through collaborative efforts, utilizing a diverse tech stack. Full-stack development skills were applied, and the application was deployed on Polygon. Innovative features, such as facial recognition using computer vision, were implemented. The camera performs a face scan, creates a hash, and validates it on the Polygon blockchain. Recognized users have their information displayed on the UI, while unrecognized users are prompted to enter information for future reference. This integration of cutting-edge technologies ensures a secure and user-friendly experience.
Challenges we ran into
While developing Apollo-Vault, challenges included integrating various technologies seamlessly, especially when working with blockchain and computer vision. The team successfully navigated these hurdles through adaptability and effective teamwork.
