Inspiration

Our inspiration came from prior experience using the Polymarket platform and recognizing how difficult it can be to find clear context before making a trade.

What it does

APOLLO provides users with instant context by generating concise news-style explanations and insights around prediction markets before they place trades.

How we built it

We built APOLLO using AI coding tools like OpenAI Codex to integrate APIs and quickly prototype features for analyzing market data.

Challenges we ran into

One of our biggest challenges was implementing a reliable system that could aggregate and interpret live information streams in real time.

Accomplishments that we’re proud of

We’re proud that this was our first hackathon project and that we successfully built a working tool that shows how prediction markets can be made more informative for real-world users.

What we learned

Through this project, we learned how to integrate APIs into a full-stack application and use AI tools to rapidly build and iterate on new ideas.

What’s next for APOLLO

Next, we plan to improve the quality of our generated insights and enable users to interact with the system to ask questions or execute trades more seamlessly.
