API Testing

Inspiration

I was really curious about how crypto currency works and was inspired by the amazing initiative from CityCoins and MiamiCoin.

What it does

This program allows you see your account balance with the click of a button.

How we built it

I built the program using javascript, the fetch() API, the stacks API and HTML.

Challenges we ran into

I knew nothing about stacks, cryptocurrency, or javascript so I had to learn about all 3.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I am very proud that I now have a great understanding of cryptocurrency and how it works. Although I didn't get to use it, I'm proud that I have a fundamental understanding of how to use Clarity to create smart contracts.

What we learned

I learned how to make an API call and how to parse through the JSON.

What's next for API Testing

I want to continue working with the stacks API and add more capabilities like making account transfers.
