Inspiration

My sister and her friend took AP Bio this year, and it was challenging for them, so we came up with the idea to make an application that makes it easier to study for the AP exam.

What it does

The app includes several features that make it more convenient to plan and study fro the exam, including a calendar, a focus timer, and study progress stats.

How we built it

we built it mainly using Copilot CLI, and implemented the application using supabase and vercel.

Challenges we ran into

We had trouble getting the Google sign-in authentication to work at first, but we ended up figuring out how to fix it and make it functional.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We're proud of how far we went from just a simple html prototype to an almost fully functional app with cool features.

What we learned

We learned how to add a Google sign-in page and also how to implement the backend using tools such as Supabase.

What's next for APBioFocus

We hope to expand this application to include other AP courses and include more features to make the application more engaging and efficient.
