Inspiration: previous bad experiences finding a roommate, so we wanted to build an app to help people with this issue.
What it does: the app allows you to answer a questionnaire about yourself and your potential roommate, then matches you with whoever is the most compatible based on your shared like of an apartment.
How we built it: we used Flask, a python based framework, to develop the web app. This involved coding in python for the back end and html/css for the front end.
Challenges we ran into: so many, it was a steep learning curve, especially for those of us with limited experience.
Accomplishments that we're proud of: our website design is very nice, and the process flows smoothly.
What we learned: the importance is not the final project but the journey that comes along with it, and getting to make memories with your friends!
