We know it can be difficult to work out. When someone don't have enough motivation already, the actual task of going to the gym might be enough to convince that person to not work out. In addition, there are poorer areas where there are no gyms or the people living there cannot afford a gym membership or gym equipment. However, everyone, no matter how much time or money they are willing to put in, should have the ability to be fit. We present "Anywhere Fitness"!

What it does

The concept of "Anywhere Fitness" is very simple. Simply supply what items you have around you and it will let you know what workouts you can do with those items! Even if you don't have the most advanced treadmill or weights, you can still have a fully balanced workout. For example, if you have a chair, you can do chair drops! Whenever you have any free time, you can find an object around you to help assist you with a workout.

How we built it

We built the backend with node.js and we built the front-end with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and BootStrap.

Challenges we ran into

Figuring out the relationships between database tables, narrowing our target audience, and making sure that our app met our design goals.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We learned how to use node.js, mySQL, and user-centered design.

What we learned

We learned how important it is to know your user and about the design process - user flows, journeys, and prototypes.

What's next for Anywhere Fitness

Creating custom routines based on the workouts, adding workout modifications for users with disabilities and integrating social media
