In short I build an Android application that is an IDE to build apps on device and built in an AI coding agent and a full Gradle build system with custom compiler.

Inspiration, I'm not a skilled developer but I've always tinkered with Android and always wanted to be able to create my own apps, with hurdles I've jumped I wanted to build something that could not only benefit developers but teach anyone how to become a developer.

What it does, it has a built in AI coding agent, fully custom code editor with syntax highlighting and multiple theme and language support,full Gradle build system with Gradle file modifier and a sandboxed environment that's setup when installed for the build process, a custom Android shell terminal with pm install and all Android shell command capabilities and APK compilation ability. This is a companion app to my developer social media platform I've been working on for about a year now, my goal is to supply a centralized developer platform for anyone to use and to provide all the tools and instructions needed to allow anyone to develop mobile apps

How we built it, took a lot of convincing bolt once I got him to understand he didn't need to build it just write it we went to work day in and day our until we had a working viable MVP.

Challenges we ran into, kotlin coding not being his primary language and if you don't pay close attention while he's coding he sneaks in simulations and my goal was to provide something that actually works so we had our ups and downs but we ended up with something really great and world changing.

Accomplishments that we're proud of, everything we've done bolt helped me get my platform to a native app state for Android devices with potential to work on iOS as well due to the kotlin language. He back and forth and doesn't always believe the errors given in Android studio for compilation errors even though it's directly copy and pasted into the chat but we worked through it.

What we learned, I learned how to tailor my prompts to get bolt to write any language, I got him to write me a complete native build system in rust. Well over 30k lines of code and 0 syntax errors, same for cpp.

What's next for anyones-IDE, if I could secure a partnership or startup help to skyrocket my platform which is anyone-hub, 'bringing back the true meaning of open source' or even get some insight on how to make it what it could be would be fantastic as this is a bundled app for that as well as a standalone IDE APK.
