My name is Atif Nawaz I'm working as a team leader in a project amun k parinday, in which we are working for peace and cultural acceptance. We conducts the trainings on different social issues .

Inspiration

our team is working individualy it is a non profit organization, it's working in different communities for SDGs like education religious harmony, Hunger free, health and women empowerment.

What it does

conducts the training sessions in which the empower the youth for social action projects, many young people are the part of our organization they are working in their communities on basic issues.

How we built it

5 years ago it was a team of 4 children we started to work for our community issues in which we were appreciated then we started to engage more people with us because we thought to make it more sustainable, then we started fundraising and we go out to meet with different community stakeholders many of them supported us and appreciated us and agter 2 years we became a family we became more strong. After some time we started a fellowship program in which we includes more young people from different communities.

Challenges we ran into

first time it was so hard to make it sustainable because there were many challenges. First challenge was that In our community girls were not allowed to go out for work. Many people were abusing us for this type of activities. People were so rude to our project and engagement of participants was so difficult.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

we proud of our team after hard working we made it possible because now we completed a fellowship program in which we engaged more than 200 beneficiaries, and also these people are working on different social issues that are happening in their communities

What we learned

we learned many new things the challenges that happened with us it made us more resilient and confident, and the experience of relationship with new people it's such a good experience for us.

What's next for Amun ke parinday

We are thinking to make it more better and we want work all over the country but lack of budget we are unable to work nationaly but I hope after some it will be possible for us
