Normally power window is operated using electric motor. Thus this system prevents possible injuries to the occupants.
This system prevents the window glass from moving further up if any obstacle is present in the path of the glass
A python program which detects the presence of hand movement near the window is used in this project. NI DAQ is used as the controller for this project which controls the direction of rotation of the motor. UDP protocol is used to transfer data between the python program and the controller.
The part of coding was quite difficult. Detection of obstacle was not perfect at the beginning.
So proud that it could prevent the people from minor injuries.
