Anti-Scalping Social

Inspiration

• We wanted to build a Twitter-like interface that protected the user's images

What it does

• Multi-browser and mobile device-supported social media page prototype

How we built it

• We used a Node.js server to locally host our web app which was made from scratch in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Challenges we ran into

• Hooking up the algorithm to our web app (using docker) proved to be our main challenge

Accomplishments that we're proud of

• Making the web app function to some capacity
• Pretty CSS

What we learned

• We learned that trying to slap huge algorithms into a pretty little web app is a little more involved than we had originally hoped

What's next for Anti-Scalping Social

• We hope to connect the web app and the algorithm as opposed to running the parts separately
