Anti-Procastination Together

Inspiration

As students, we procrastinate a lot, so we wanted to make a calculator to calculate how long we need to do our homework.

What it does

This is a very simple text-based app that just calculates how long you need to do homework for based on averages we found. Since everyone is different, these times can vary between students, so our calculator should just be a estimation.

How we built it

We made a very simple python script and used Canva and DaVinci Resolve to edit our video.

Challenges we ran into

We had a time where we were just too ambitious. So we decided to simplify the project and cut it down to what we have now.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud of how much we made in 1 day. We started our project later than the rest of the members and as a result, we thought we could not make a good final end product. We also have less coding knowledge then the rest of our peers. However, through hard work and extreme concentration, we were able to make this simple terminal app.

What we learned

We learned how to use our time more wisely for next time, and we also learned vital time management skills. We also learned how to take advantage of Git for better collaboration.

What's next for Anti-Procastination Together

We will continue on with our project and add more functionality to it. We also hope to expand our knowledge in python to continue building this wonderful app.
