There is no direct connections between student recourses and students when it comes to online bullying. We wanted to create a more direct connection between these two things.

What it does

Bully Be Gone is an educational module that will be installed on all educational devices (Chrome Laptops, Library Computers, etc.) and store reports of student bullying instances. The school then can decide on their own terms what to do with this database and information, whether it be punishments or investigations.

How we built it

We built this web application using React and a React Framework called Next.js. We used Tailwind CSS for styling and Github to collaboratively work on this project.

Challenges we ran into

It was two of our first times using Github, Next.js and Tailwind, so it was a steep learning curve during this hackathon.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We were able to code some basic UI for our website that was functional and learned how to use Github to collaborate.

What we learned

We learned that we need to manage our time better as a team and plan according to time guidelines.

What's next for Bully Be Gone

We are going to implement the back-end that we were unable to do due to time constraints.
