Inspiration
We were inspired by multiple ideas, finding new things to do and exploring new locations, but with an interesting twist.
What it does
Join, create or find challenge groups and either complete challenges or give challenges. A user join a group and find challenges within the theme of the group (the coding group will have coding challenges while the weight lifting group will have weight lifting challenges), the poster of the challenge can assign points to give to a user who submits proof of completion. This tool is to help people discover new hobbys or get out of their comfort zone.
How we built it
We created a web application using Flask, HTML, CSS, SQL and Python. We heavily planned and came together as a group to reach a collective goal.
Challenges we ran into
The frameworks and languages we used are not entirely known to all of us in the group, so we had to research extensively prior to the implementation stage.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We set a clear vision of what we wanted and achieved significant progress on that vision. We also brainstormed collaboratively and efficiently.
What we learned
To research more efficient ways to implement PostgreSQL into database.
What's next for ANT
We would like to continue on our other features we planned.
