Inspiration = I had the inspiration from my own charging station in my room and I thought it would be cool to implement a security system.
What it does = The Hub/Dock Senses the phone from 2 touch sensors that are reading 24/7. Then, if theres any change, the buzzers will go off to alert the phone owner. There are 1 more touch sensor to disable the alarm for the owner and a button to turn off the alarm sound.
How we built it = I used 2 small boxes as a base and the Arduino uno with the grove shield.
Challenges we ran into = I faced multiple challenges such as 1) The files wasn't working while exporting. 2) The boxes weren't weighted down. 3) The 1 hour time crunch.
Accomplishments that we're proud of = It got finished and it worked as planned.
What we learned = To manage time well and stay up reasonably late to get more stuff done.
What's next for Anit-Theft Phone Charging Hub = To make it better by including more functionality and tech to it.
