Millions of immigrant parents have trouble navigating the American mental health system due to cultural barriers. As a result, they struggle to support the mental wellness and health of their teens. Only 20% of teenagers who have mental health issues receive the support they need and this percentage dwindles when it comes to immigrant teens. We built Animo to address this problem. Animo is an app where immigrant parents can access free and premium content, discussion groups and more to help them guide their teens to better mental wellness and through mental illness.
