Inspiration
Pomodoro technique is a widely known term by now, for the folks who are into productivity. A proven and popular time management technique, practiced by people everywhere. However, on the other side, people are keen to adopt newer ways of focusing unlike the obsolete methods of short sessions with no rewarding breaks. Forget the Pomodoro, the Animedoro is in. For all students having trouble with online studying right now or folks who are finding it difficult to finish their anime bucketlist, Animedoro can make life easier.
Features
uses API to fetch random anime facts provides link to your favourite anime during break. notifies when work and break time starts and ends.
How we built it
We built it using JavaScript , CSS, HTML, bootstrap and jQuery.
Challenges we ran into
Syncing background timer and popup timer. Running timer in background. Adding libraries to the chrome extension is not easy. Making everything from scratch.

A decent looking UI. Timer runs in Background.

What's next for Animedoro Chrome extension
Adding search bar to search anime episodes. Blocking anime sites during work session. Improving UI.
