Inspiration

I watch a lot of anime and play various anime games. Luckily, I am a Coder as well, and HACKTOON has given me an opportunity to make a project on anime. The inspiration credit goes to the NARUTO anime. I have taken the 2 greatest characters of the series, Naruto and Saskue and make them fight to determine which one is superior.

What it does

My anime game is a simple 2 player 2d game. Both player can choose whether they want to play as NARUTO or SASKUE. The game is simple. Both player will rush to collect power orbs in the battlefield, The first player which is able to collect the specifics number of power orbs will get a power up. The player which gets a power up touches the other player will win the fight. Hence, the game as well

How we built it

I have used Python as a programming language. The for the framework, I have used pygame. My code is simple, and I only have used basics of pygame, so anyone can understand it.

Challenges we ran into

There were various challenges. i. Like the random generation is power orbs. ii. How to fit the battle filed and players in it iii. The pop-up text when the game ends iv. Synchronization of the song in the game

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I am proud of my self that I have build this game under 6hr. And I am a beginner in pygames. So I am kind a happy to see my result which this game has shown me. I hope to grow in the future and make more amazing games like this in the future.

What we learned

I have learned the intermediate python topics like nested functions, etc. I have also learned about the pygame framework. Which is just amazing to make games in python. Pygames has taught me many things and amazing concepts which were using in making games.

What's next for Anime_game

I would like to host my game on a gaming website. And I would try to make it more interesting my adding multipliers though which many people can play together and compete with each other online. I will also like to make a leader board on that website so that the competition can increase.
