Totalitarian dystopias → 1984, Brave New World: castes, social control, pleasure as anesthesia.

Transhumanist body horror → Cronenberg, Tetsuo: The Iron Man: grotesque implants, bodies deformed by technology.

Futuristic urban violence → Mad Max, Dredd, GTA in cyberpunk mode: street chaos, drugs, prostitution, ultra-individualism.

Current social critique → consumption, algorithms, job loss due to AI, the elite accumulating power while the masses survive on "crumbs."

It's basically a hybrid of cyberpunk, political dystopia, and body horror, but told with an almost documentary-like rawness, as if Hellen were a reporter of the apocalypse.
