Anime News Network Flash Briefing

Inspiration

I constantly find myself browsing Anime News Network just to read the daily headlines.

What it does

Alexa will read for you the latest headlines from Anime News Network when you ask it Alexa, what's new in anime? or Alexa, what are the news?

How I built it

It's actually pretty simple, I just filled out a bunch of info on the Amazon developer website and connected in order to create a new "Flash Briefing" type skill. The Skill will read from an Alexa-friendly JSON feed that's converted from the official ANN RSS feed.

Challenges I ran into

None so far, even testing was a breeze through the Echosim website.
