Inspiration
This project was inspired by experiences searching for anime to watch during free time!
What it does
This project takes in any amount of user inputted anime, and returns a list of recommendations.
How we built it
This project was built with Flask/HTML/CSS.
Challenges we ran into
We spent a lot of time attempting to figure out a login system and working with some APIs like the YouTube API.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We're proud of our ability to overcome obstacles. The path to creating a working version of our product was messy, and a lot of hours were spent thinking of various ways to approach our idea.
What we learned
We learned about the Flask framework and how to work with APIs.
What's next for aniME!
We'll revisit our login system idea and connect a database, and also optimize the recommendation algorithm.
