This is my first web3 project that explores what an alternative tiktok platform could be as a dapp built on Polygon.

Inspiration
TikTok is a big deal. Can we do this with web 3?
What it does
- Users login with their wallet
- Upload a cool video with description
- Watch fun videos
- Tip other entertaining creators
- Get tips sent to their wallet
- Users can also transfer fiat to their Polygon account easily with transak and add the fronted of the app to their Skynet homescreen.
How we built it
The Mumbai Polygon testnet and using truffle for the workflow were key elements to make this rapid prototype.
Challenges we ran into
We ran into some issues when trying to deploy the contract with truffle. We had to switch to a common rpm endpoint instead of with popular services like Figment.

- I made a video platform on web3!

- How to write a contract.
- How to connect a React front end with wallets.
- Workflows for rapid deployment of contracts and local testing.
What's next for Animatic
- Continue to build out features that make it more like TikTok and see how it scales.
